About ATC

Introduction

ATC (Hamilton) Ltd. is an Inspection Body accredited by International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) under the provisions of the Health & Safety in Employment (PECPR) Regulations. As an Inspection Body and under its scope of accreditation ATC incorporates a wide range of Non Destructive Testing.

Our Head office is in Auckland with branches in Hamilton and New Plymouth.  In addition ATC has a network of IANZ approved representatives in other North Island centres such as Wellington and Whangarei.

We take pride in being a wholly NZ owned and operated Company, employing Technicians experienced in a wide range of disciplines and qualified to standards of proficiency as set by recognized certification bodies such as CBIP, ASNT, PCN and CSWIP.

ATC demonstrates its commitment to New Zealand associations, accreditation and certification bodies involved in the provision of supporting administrative services to our industry sector, by:

· Member of the NZNDTA.

· Provision of Technical Experts (Alastair Scott & Tom Winton) to IANZ in the field of Mechanical Testing.

Background

ATC was formed in Auckland in the mid 1980’s as an NDT Inspection company specialising in Ultrasonic and Surface Methods testing.

Our Hamilton office opened in 1993 with a new Heat Treatment department added to complement our NDT & Inspection Services to a wide range of primary and associated service industries including, Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, Petrochemical, Dairy, Engineering Services (Fabrication & Manufacturing, Installation & Servicing / Maintenance).

By 2001 ATC had branched into New Plymouth to service the growing Oil and Gas Industry.
